a Catchy Cake!

As I mentioned in this post, I want to bake a wedding cake for my friends. I should have mentioned that I want to bake catchy birthday cakes as well. This weekend I made my first ever Barbie cake for my niece’s birthday party. After a minor problem with gettin’ the cake out of it’s baking tin and a few houres of putting the pieces back together later, the result wasn’t that bad for a first time (if I may say so myself). The dress didn’t turn out as smooth as I wanted but you can’t have it all, I guess. I really love to bake, so the next project is going to be a dinosaur cake for a five year old :) . Maybe I can cook up a catchy baking section on my website as well.
