32 things before turning 33
Posted on | May 12, 2009 | 2 Comments

As mentioned here before, I’ve been meaning to make a Hula style list of 32 things I want to do before I turn 33. I’ve had a hard time trying to come up with 32 things (I got stuck at 26, but figured it out eventually) but it also made me focus on what I want, where I want to be and with whom I want to be with. So here is my list:
- Open up an etsyshop (done)
- Bake a red velvet cake (or cupcakes)
- Visit the Guggenheimmuseum in Bilbao
- Drink a caffè latte in Rome
- Get an illustration published
- Learn to work my camera manually and be able to make photo’s in dimmed light
- Make 20 mixed media art works (by hand no computer allowed)
- Have my photographs made into postcards
- Eat at Proef
- Go snowboarding in summer
- Visit a museum with my little niece
- Make art with small children
- Buy a car
- Make new friends
- Write a blogpost (at least) every week
- Take a yoga class
- Go see a movie in the movie theater
- Visit Fondation Beyeler in Basel again
- Make photos ‘through the viewfinder’
- Refresh my Italian language lessons
- Go on a artist date by myself every month and write about it
- Start folding as many paper cranes as I can
- Paint some walls in bright colors
- Make a calender
- Try silk screening at home
- Get organized and focused
- Bake my friends a wedding cake
- Participate in an exhibition (done)
- Renew my passport
- Connect with people who inspire me
- Buy a Hula Hoop and start hooping
- Participate in an e-course (done)
